Village Solicitor

MARSHAL M. PITCHFORD became part of the Village of Boston Heights, with Council approval, in 2011 with a strong focus on governmental relations.

Since joining forces with the Village, he has been instrumental in bringing Ordinances/Resolutions up-to-date for the police department, Mayor’s Court and the general administration.

With his experience, he has played an integral part in the development of Boston Heights and the former golf course, making sure that those businesses, wanting to build in Boston Heights, would be a good fit for the Village residents. It is a long and tedious process, but Council is anticipating the end result will be worth the wait.

As Solicitor, his role is to advise Council, Mayor, and other members of the staff in all matters relating to their official duties. Marshal also drafts, reviews, and provides counsel on legislation (Ordinances and Resolutions) as requested. When necessary, he also provides counsel on any employment matters that may require his attention.

Marshal attends all Council and some Planning/BZA meetings, representing the Village. His expertise in this area has and continues to be positive for the Village.
