Service Department

Village of Boston Heights Service Department provides maintenance of the cemetery, park, town hall, police department, fire department, all land and buildings owned by the Village, along with all road right of ways. For Cemetery maintenance, we provide ground maintenance along with opening and closing of graves.  The park is maintained with mowing all grounds, preparing and seasonal maintenance of baseball and soccer fields for leagues, as well as the maintaining of playgrounds, exercise trails, the pavilion, and pool.

The Service Department consists of two full-time employees who provide ice and snow removal; basic road repair, road maintenance for debris, such as animal road kills and other such services.

Road Right of Ways

Road right of ways are maintained with mowing including highways, cleaning of ditches/culverts, trimming or removal of trees, maintaining road signage, repairing of roadway surfaces, and any other items needed to maintain right of ways.

Seasonal

The Service Department provides seasonal needs, such as brush chipping from April through October. Leaf pick-up is done in October and November, and snow/ice control is done during winter months. We provide support/services as needed to other departments and our community.
