Fire Department

The Village approved a contract with Valley Fire District to provide fire and emergency medical service, which began in October, 2013. This contract was necessary to continue to provide professional fire service to the community’s residents and businesses due to the expense of staffing its own department. Valley Fire District plans on using the existing Fire Station for one of its ambulances to enhance the response time in the Village. We are pleased to have negotiated a new contract for 2016 for ten years.
